A Grand Time Was Had By All

Or at least by the 1,000+ of you who have downloaded the iPhone Munchkin Level Counter. Thanks for making it a hit!

(And if you have an iPhone or an iPod touch and haven't downloaded this yet . . . are you a munchkin or aren't you? This application has UNIQUE bonuses that you can't find anywhere else!)

No word yet on whether (or when) we'll be porting this to other platforms. If that changes, it'll be posted here first!

Ultra-Rare Munchkin Item on Sale Today!

At some point during the day today, November 18, we'll be making an ultra-rare Munchkin item available on Warehouse 23. How rare? We've got just 30 -- that's it.

These items will be sold on a "first come, first served" basis. The first 30 orders will be processed based on the time stamp in our database. If a payment bounces, we'll move on to the next order.

What is this mysterious item? When will it become available? Follow us on Twitter (or watch our Twitter feed on the right hand side of the front page) to get hints and the "go buy now!" announcement!

A Couple Of Reminders

If you aren't following us on Twitter, you're missing out on a lot of discussion of upcoming projects (and your daily dose of random silliness). There's no better time than right now to start!

Also, we've been very pleased with the sales of the iPhone Munchkin Level Counter to date, but it occurs to us that there may be some of you who bought iPhones after we released this app and didn't realize it was available. It includes in-game benefits for Munchkin (including Epic Munchkin) and Munchkin Quest that change every game (and the longer you wait to claim them, the better they get). Bonus: there are also counters for Chez Geek, SPANC, and a build-your-own counter option for all those other games that are out there!

Card Curling Issues with Fairy Dust and Waiting For Santa

Steve posted a fairly lengthy Daily Illuminator on Friday about curl issues we are seeing with the two new mini-expansions. Rather than repeat what he said, I'll just point that way and let you go read it.

(Update: Steve has posted a followup message that I encourage everyone to read.)

Also, a reminder: the office will be effectively CLOSED this Friday, October 30, for our annual Game Day. Don't expect e-mail to be answered or Warehouse 23 orders to be processed, and most of us won't be at our desks to get phone calls. Things will be back to normal (relatively speaking) on Monday.

Meet The Czar!

Munchkin Czar Andrew Hackard (hey, that's me!) will be attending Rincon in Tucson, Ariz. from October 9 through 11. He's going to be playing lots of games, but there's every chance a few games of Munchkin and Munchkin Quest will sneak in there . . . and we're going to make sure he's WELL supplied with promo items to hand out!
