The Sparkly Good Fairy And Warehouse 23

The Sparkly Good Fairy has dropped by Warehouse 23 -- just in time for Valentine's Day! There are two ways you'll be visited by the fairy featured in Munchkin Fairy Dust.

Starting today, we'll include The Official Munchkin Bookmark of Sparkly Good Monster Mayhem with each order while supplies last. Limit one bookmark per order.

Next, any customer who places an order of $75 or more will get a Munchkin Fairy Dust Handbag of Holding added to the shipment. Be sure to look inside the Handbag for the special (and very pink) rule!

To give you a feel for what constitutes $75, you could place an order for:

uStream Chat TODAY!

A quick reminder that Lenny and I will be having a uStream chat this evening, starting at 6:00 p.m. Central Time. We'll be looking back at 2011 and looking forward to 2012, and as always, we'll be answering questions from the forums and from the live chatters, and (as long as I don't screw it up again) we'll save the chat so you early-to-bed types in Europe can watch it later.

If y'all are REALLY good, I'll tell you what's special about the 23rd printing of Munchkin, coming up this spring.

uStream Chat Next Monday, January 30

Lenny and I will be conducting a uStream chat next Monday evening, 6:00 p.m. Central Time (GMT-6). It's Lenny's first Munchkin chat, so be gentle!

We'll be wrapping up 2011, talking about plans for 2012, and of course taking your questions. Maybe we'll even answer a couple of them!

If you can't make it, or you'd like to be SURE to get your question answered, please drop by the forums and leave your question in the thread there. But the more of you who show up, the more likely I am to let something slip . . .

Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes

Some big changes going on here at Munchkin HQ!

First, I have a new office! We did some renovation work over the holiday break, and as a result I'm now on the other side of the building, between Steve and Phil, in a MUCH bigger office (which is good, because I was running out of space to store all the Munchkin stuff we've been producing lately). It doesn't feel quite like home yet, but I'm sure in another month or two, I'll be completely settled in.

Monica Valentinelli took over our marketing last fall, and I've been remiss in not mentioning the great work she's doing for Munchkin and for the company in general. Monica also works on the Flames Rising website (y'all remember their contest last year, right? That was Monica's doing!) . . . and if that's not enough, she also keeps the weasels from nibbling on John Kovalic so he can keep drawing Munchkin cards for us! I don't know how she finds the time to do it all, but she does, and she's great!

I've talked here many times about my Hireling, Angie Kreuser. Starting today, I can't do that anymore, because Angie is moving out and up, taking charge of all customer service for Warehouse 23 and e23. If you have a problem or a suggestion or just a random question about our online stores, Angie's the one who will be answering it. I'll miss having Angie around to ~~abuse~~ help me out, but this is a fantastic move for Angie and for SJ Games. Congratulations to Angie on her new role!

Succeeding Angie (because no one can replace her!) is Leonard Balsera. Many of y'all may recognize Lenny's name from his work on The Dresden Files RPG for Evil Hat. He's going to keep doing some stuff for them on the side, but now he's also a full-time minion at SJ Games, helping me keep Munchkin chugging along. Please make Lenny feel welcome!

Did Santa Munchkin Forget To Fill Your Stocking?

That's too bad. Next year, kill more monsters and steal more stuff, and maybe you'll get back on the "Good Munchkin" list.
