When Munchkin 3 – Clerical Errors was printed, we made a not-funny goof. 28 of the cards in one deck had the wrong backs. Fortunately, it was caught before we shipped them out . . . and at great expense, and with much muttering of naughty words, new decks were printed. So the Munchkin 3 – Clerical Errors that we shipped out was free of errors, or at least free of THOSE errors.

When we announced the reason for delay, though, some people said "Treasures with Door backs? Cool. Don't throw them away!"

Yeah, right. Collector items! No, guys, these are MISPRINTS. Embarrassing misprints.

Well, all right . . . We are munchkins. We have no shame. If you want them, you can have them.

We packaged up 1,200 of the bad deck, along with a few rules that actually make the cards PLAYABLE with the wrong back. Only 1,200; we threw away the rest. Why 1,200? Since that many of you WANTED this silly thing, we broke even on what we spent to reprint all the bad decks.

This deck includes Phil Foglio's Magnificent Hat – but Murphy made sure this card had the wrong back.
